Assignment Details: Specialty: Neurosurgery Rate: Submit at your best rate Default Rate Type: On Call (Daily) Start Date: December 19, 2023 End Date: Ongoing # of Providers Needed: 1 Shift Type: 24-Hour On Call Est. Shifts: 7 MANDATED Job Requirements: Board Certified (ABNS or ACOS) - REQUIRED Florida state license - REQUIRED BLS - REQUIRED Must be able to perform specified procedures Certification Requirements: BLS Board Certified License Requirements: Florida Job Description: We are seeking a Locum Neurosurgeon to cover vacation dates from December 19 to 26, 2023. This opportunity involves providing 24-hour on-call coverage for ED and practice patients. The hospital is not a trauma center but serves as a community hospital with an annual ER volume of 55,000 - 60,000. The facility utilizes the EPIC documentation system/EMR and has 16 operating rooms. You will be joining a team with one employed Neurosurgeon. Required Procedures: Neurosurgery Cases Clot Removal Tumor Removal Shunt Insertion or Revision Diskectomy Laminectomy Spinal Fusion Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty Spine Stabilization and Reconstruction CSF Sampling from Shunts or External Ventricular Drains External Ventricular Drain Management Location: This opportunity is located near Miami, FL.
