Details - Work in the Operating Room (OR) of an acute care hospital setting - Strong orthopedic surgical experience is a primary focus of this role - Schedule: Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 12-hour day shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) - On-call is required as part of this assignment - Floating may be required to OR units at sister campuses, all located within 15–20 minutes of each other - EMR: Epic Requirements - Active FL or compact RN license required - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required - Strong orthopedic surgical experience required - Degree accreditation documentation required, or 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation verification - Prior travel nursing experience preferred - Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing Additional Information - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position — this rule is strictly enforced - All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront for consideration, as it will not be approved after an offer is made - Block scheduling requests are not accepted - Orientation begins on a Friday; candidates must be present at the facility on that day for badging and ID, though some orientation is completed remotely - Candidates must be prepared to float to sister campus OR units and should be comfortable doing so - First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-687081.
