Job Description:
Job Description The Clinical Manager is responsible for
strategic planning, clinical operation, fiscal management, and
leadership of the program under his/her jurisdiction, assigned by
the CCO within the organizational chart of the agency. Essential
Functions: Works with the Practice Administrator, Director of
Nursing, Director of Behavioral Health, Medical Director and Chief
Clinical Officer as well as the rest of Banyan Executive Team to
assure the delivery of state of the art clinical care. Endorses the
organizations core values by developing and sustaining an
environment which supports excellence in clinical practice and the
care of the clients in all settings. Conducts compliance activity
reviews to ensure that all quality, client-centered services are
delivered and documentation standards are maintained in all medical
records for services delivered. Promotes the development of
professionals, technicians and support staff. Ensures consistency
in the implementation of the philosophy, mission and vision of
Banyan Community Health as well as the standards of care based on
evidenced-based practices. Provide leadership for all clinic staff;
embraces evidenced based practices as part of clinical supervision
( Solution Focused ), Create a healthy, productive work culture
mentoring solid, working relationships, corporate
values/beliefs/practices, and high ethical conduct at all times.
Continuously foster internal and external customer satisfaction ;
Integrate excellence into all aspects of business and services
Maintain a close partnership with the Practice Administrator and
Director of Behavioral Health. Organize and systematize internal
and external business operations of the assigned unit(s),
including: a) Service delivery system beginning with initial phone
call to discharge/transfer. Include all involved (person served,
direct service staff, clinical supervisor, referral sources,
transfer source, and internal administrative support staff). b)
Administrative Service Systems beginning with reception/initial
contact; financial evaluation process (sliding fee scale, funding
source(s) with applicable co-pays; support staff training for these
duties, including documentation requirements; service billing
including support documentation (e.g. staff time sheets, client
service records, billing and data information including KIS data
entries); and oversee billing/collection, data and reporting
processes. Continuously improve internal and external relationships
(e.g. between the business and programmatic/service aspects of the
assigned unit, other programs, corporate departments, and
community/funding liaisons, etc.); Enforces HR practices for
support staff at the unit level including: hiring practices, ensure
orientation/training compliance, staff development and supervision,
performance evaluations, disciplinary practices, terminations,
staff grievances/corrective actions, staff support and achievement
recognition; and promotions. Ensure compliance with all the
business aspects of DCF licensure/CARF and established regulations
at the unit level; Manage the business aspects of contract
compliance at the unit level including: units provided per
contract; number of persons served per contract; outcomes per
contract; and timely reporting per contract; Oversee unit facility
responsibilities including equipment and supplies; maintain safety
requirements and ensure quick and comprehensive disaster response;
Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversees the program under his/her
jurisdiction and all staff within these areas inclusive of
(Therapists, Case Managers, Client Services Representatives and
Ancillary staff). Implement clinical supervision based on Solution
Focused. As part of the supervision, the incumbent will promote,
educate and enforce full integration of behavioral and primary care
services. Salary : This is a full-time position. Banyan seeks the

Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and
experience and may be above or below the posted salary range.
Qualifications and Skills: A Licensed Practitioner of the Healing
Arts (LCSW, LMHC, LMFC) with at least three years of combined
management experience in residential services or similar programs.
Qualified Supervisor Status preferred Ability to read, write and
speak in English and Spanish (or other languages) helpful. Must be
able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short
correspondence, and memorandums. Agility to effectively communicate
information both orally and written on one-to-one and small group
situations to clients and other employees. Ability to work with
mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical
inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions,
percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

hindrance to client appointments etc. Must be able to work
independently with competent clinical decision making using
established criteria and guidelines. Computer Skills: To perform
this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS
Excel, MS Outlook, Database software; Internet software and Word
