Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Fort Myers, FL Agency: Job.com Pay: $1,900 to $2,050 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Provide safe and effective patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Prepare and maintain the operating room, equipment, and supplies according to surgical case requirements. Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and sterile technique. Accurately document all care in Epic EMR. Provide education and emotional support to patients and families. Participate in required on-call rotations and respond within 30 minutes of call-back. Assist in orientation or mentoring of new staff or travelers. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards. Requirements Minimum Experience: 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required. Travel Experience: Prior travel experience required. Licensure: Active Florida RN or Compact License. BLS – Required ACLS & PALS – Preferred Education: Degree accreditation must appear on profile or minimum 5 years of OR experience required. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic EMR. Required Expertise: Robotic and Orthopedic/Neuro surgery experience.
